Description
The MILWAUKEE® Straight Flute Taper Taps are precision machined for creating or repairing clean, accurate (internal) threads. The Taper Taps feature long-lasting laser-etched sizing for the clearest markings and include a protective Black Oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The square shank is compatible with all standard tap handles or tap wrenches and the taper style is designed for gradual starts while cutting threads. Engineered for durability, MILWAUKEE® Straight Flute Plug Taps are designed for cutting threads in the most common metal applications including brass, aluminum, mild steel, and more. For best results, use Taper Taps with cutting fluid.
