Features
- A 1-gang weatherproof "while-in-use" cover. Unlike traditional flip-covers that must be closed to stay dry, this "expandable" model protects your outlet even when a cord is plugged in. It is ideal for outdoor receptacles used for holiday lights, power tools, or patio equipmen
- The most unique feature of the ML450GCN is its accordion-style design. It can sit flat (1 inch deep) when not in use for a low-profile look, but then expands to 3-1/2 inches deep when you need to plug in a bulky cord. This eliminates the need for large, unsightly plastic bubbles on the side of your home or building.
- This cover uses TayMac’s U-Fast (Universal Fit Adapter System Technology). It comes with multiple modular inserts that allow you to customize the opening for 16 different device configurations, including:Duplex receptaclesGFCI outlets (pre-configured)Toggle switchesRound outlets (multiple sizes)
- Manufactured from ultra-rugged polycarbonate and synthetic neoprene rubber, this cover is built to withstand extreme weather. It is UV-rated to prevent "dry rot" and cracking in direct sunlight. The gray surface is also 100% paintable, allowing you to match it perfectly to your exterior siding or trim.
- The ML450GCN carries a NEMA 3R rating, meaning it is rain-tight and ice-resistant. It includes an attached gasket and all necessary mounting hardware to ensure a watertight seal against the wall or electrical box.
