Features
- This 15 kVA three-phase unit functions natively as a flexible step-up or step-down transformer, accommodating 600Y/480Y V AC inputs/outputs as well as 480Y/380Y V AC arrangements. The built-in Star (Wye) connection type features an integrated common neutral terminal, allowing industrial electricians to seamlessly interface imported European or high-voltage North American machinery with local plant grids.
- Completely encapsulated in a solid resin compound, the core and copper coil assembly are entirely shielded from airborne moisture, conductive dust, and corrosive industrial materials. The convection-cooled design operates quietly without relying on vulnerable mechanical fans, dissipating internal heat smoothly to maintain a stable 130C temperature rise profile and maximizing the overall lifespan of the system insulation.
- Housed within a rugged NQT3-N3R rated enclosure, this transformer is fully protected against falling rain, sleet, snow, and external ice formation. It allows facility managers to safely implement either indoor or outdoor installations—including parking structures, processing plants, and exterior walls—saving valuable floor space inside crowded electrical rooms.
- Measuring just 5.44 inches long by 12.38 inches wide by 11.13 in high, this highly compact transformer can be easily integrated into tight workspaces. It features integrated anti-vibration pads positioned between the core and enclosure to damp harmonic noise, alongside a flexible copper grounding strap that simplifies compliance with local code inspections.
