Description
HDX Frame Splice Deck, 2RU, empty; Accepts up to 144 fiber for splicing (using six T5PLS-24F splice trays). Accessories include patch cord and trunk breakout bend radius brackets and cable clamp kit. Use with HDX Frame (F3168-22F)
Features
- Unique modular 3.5-inch height with three independent sliding trays accepting up to six 24-fiber splice trays
- Independent sliding trays are removable for ease of access for splicing, minimizing impact to static splice trays
- Heat-shrink fusion splicing of individual 250 µm or 900 µm tight buffer fibers for up to 144-fibers per deck
- Up to 3,168 fusion splices per frame
- Splice individual backbone fiber cable to backbone fiber cable, or backbone fiber cable to fiber patch cable
- Deck accessory kit consist of VELCRO® Brand ties, mesh sleeve, front and rear wire management and cable clamp kit (grommet for single and multiple cable install)
- Easy one-person install of Splice Deck
- Mass ribbon fusion splicing available as a special custom order
- Magnifying lens label holders are included on each tray
- The Leviton HDX Splice Deck is designed for heat-shrink fusion splicing of individual 250 µm or 900 µm tight buffer fibers. It allows for splicing of backbone cable to backbone cable, or backbone cable to a patch cable, and is designed to be installed in the HDX Fiber Distribution Frame. The deck is ideal for data center (Main Distribution Area) and central office (head end) applications where there is a high concentration or aggregation of fibers.
