Description
A100P Amp-Trap® Form 101 high speed fuses are rated 1000V, extending the range of protection for UPS systems, AC and DC drives, reduced voltage motor starters and similar applications where lower I2t and superior reliability are needed. With ratings from 15 through 1000 amperes, a wide range of high voltage applications can be served.

- Engineered specifically for semiconductor device protection, this Form 101 high-speed fuse utilizes an extremely low thermal energy clearing threshold (I^2t) to isolate faults within milliseconds. This rapid intervention prevents catastrophic thermal damage to expensive internal components like thyristors, SCRs, and IGBTs during short-circuit events, effectively preventing costly equipment failure and cascading circuit damage.
- This semiconductor fuse features robust dual-voltage capabilities, holding a maximum rating of 1000VAC and 750VDC with a massive 200kA interrupting rating. This extensive threshold delivers reliable arc-quenching performance across standard 50/60Hz frequencies, making it ideal for protecting large-scale uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, heavy industrial AC/DC variable speed drives, and solid-state reduced voltage motor starters.
