Description
Recessed 4" aperture ultra-shallow new construction housing for use with LED integrated trims. Suitable for 2x4 residential framing or shallow plenum commercial construction, type IC rated and can be used in direct contact with insulation. Airtight rating reduces airflow between living spaces and unconditioned areas providing additional energy savings. Use with Halo LT4, RL4, RA4, SMD4, SLD4 LED integrated trims and the ML4 LED modular recessed lighting system.

- AIRTITE(TM) housing and compression gasket improves air quality and energy efficiency by keeping exterior/attic air from coming into conditioned spaces
- Ideal for both residential / commercial new construction applications in SHALLOW 2x4 framing or T-grid ceilings
- Q-Channel bars increase rigidity and stability, while with Pass-N-Thru(TM) design allows for tool-less shortening
- Got Nail!(TM) Bar Hangers with pre-installed nails, automatic leveling flange, T-grid compatible and more
- Junction box with 4 Slide-N-Side(TM) Wire Traps for fast wiring of non-metallic sheathed cable, along with 4 ½” knockouts for conduit, Includes 3 Push-in wire nuts (120V Input)
- Plaster Frame with regressed locking screws for locking Bar Hangers and housing adjustment to accommodate up to 1"-thick ceilings
- Movable junction box can rotate 90 degree to avoid obstructions when needed
