- Calgonate® Gel is an effective topical 2.5% calcium gluconate gel used in first aid for hydrofluoric acid (HF) exposure or contact.
- Calcium gluconate neutralizes the harmful fluoride ion from hydrofluoric acid.
- Contains Calcium Gluconate USP 2.5% w/w in a clear, viscous, colorless, and odorless water-miscible gel base.
- Indicated for use in responding to hydrofluoric acid exposure by flooding the affected area with calcium gluconate to chelate harmful components before they penetrate the skin.
