Specially developed for DC applications, 20x127 gR cylindrical is a fast acting, full range fuse used in the protection of auxiliaries, control circuit and other measuring and monitoring devices.
Features
- Specifically engineered as an extremely fast-acting semiconductor fuse, the C089495 features a low I^2t rating to minimize let-through energy during a fault. This provides critical, high-speed clearing of overloads and short circuits, shielding expensive rectifiers, thyristors, and VFD components from permanent thermal damage.
- Unlike standard AC fuses that may fail to quench a DC arc, this gR-class fuse is purpose-built for DC applications up to 1000V. It is the ideal choice for protecting auxiliary circuits, monitoring devices, and measurement equipment in renewable energy systems or industrial DC drives where voltage stability and arc suppression are non-negotiable.
- This model features a built-in mechanical striker that provides immediate visual confirmation of a cleared fault. For industrial automation and remote monitoring, the striker can be used to trigger a microswitch, sending a signal to your PLC or control system to initiate an emergency shutdown or alert maintenance personnel instantly.
- Boasting a massive 100kA DC breaking capacity, the C089495 can safely interrupt severe short-circuit currents without the risk of the fuse body rupturing.
