- The Hubbell Iberville 53151K is a 4-inch square metallic extension ring designed to sit on top of an existing junction box. Its primary purpose is to add extra depth and cubic volume to a box that is already installed, typically when a wall surface is being built out (e.g., adding a layer of tile) or when more space is needed for complex wiring
- With a 1-1/2 inch depth, the 53151K adds 21.0 cubic inches of capacity to your electrical system. This is an essential solution for meeting electrical code requirements regarding "wire-fill" when you are adding new conductors or installing bulky devices like smart dimmers and GFCIs in a box that was originally too shallow.
- The ring is equipped with a versatile array of concentric knockouts (1/2" and 3/4").
