Description
PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads and short circuits. PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breakers are available with either thermal magnetic or MicroLogic electronic trip protection units. This PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breaker provides thermal magnetic circuit protection with a breaking capacity of 50kA at 600VAC. All PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breakers are equipped with dual-break rotating contacts that reduce the amount of peak current during a short circuit fault. All PowerPacT circuit breakers have an integral push-to-trip button in the cover to manually trip the circuit breaker. PowerPacT J circuit breakers are available in 2 and 3-pole unit mount and I-Line constructions. PowerPacT J I-Line circuit breakers are available in I-Line construction for easy installation and removal in I-Line applications. This unit has I-Line terminations on the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side. This PowerPacT J, 175A, 3 pole, circuit breaker has a breaking capacity of 50kA at 600VAC. This circuit breaker has a continuous current rating of 80% with an ABC phase connection. PowerPacT J circuit breakers comply to UL, CSA, NOM, and IEC standards and are CE marked.

- Engineered with a 175A frame size and a 600VAC rating, this PowerPact J-frame molded case circuit breaker (MCCV) provides robust, reliable overcurrent protection for demanding commercial and industrial branch circuits. It ensures your heavy machinery and facility systems stay powered safely without risking costly nuisance tripping or unexpected downtime.
- Featuring a premium L-interrupting rating, this breaker delivers a massive 125kA breaking capacity at 240VAC, 100kA at 480VAC, and 50kA at 600VAC, as well as DC ratings of 20kA at 250VDC and 50kA at 500VDC (all compliant with UL 489).
- Designed specifically for the proprietary I-Line distribution system, this 3-pole (also available for 2-pole) breaker features the legendary time-saving, plug-on I-Line jaws. It mounts directly onto the I-Line bus stack in seconds, completely eliminating the tedious bolt-on connections, reducing labor costs during retrofits, and ensuring a rock-solid, vibration-resistant mechanical fit.
- Built to rigorous industrial standards, this circuit breaker carries full CSA certification, UL listing, and IEC ratings. You can specify and install it with complete confidence, knowing it meets all local Canadian Electrical Code (CE Code) requirements for commercial infrastructure, insurance compliance, and workplace safety inspections.
