This RS485 shielded cable is used to connect 2 safe communication expansion modules. It is designed to link two safe communication modules, in order to create decentralized cabinets of remote IO. RS485 serial interface shielded cables are used between the Bus expansion communication modules to create up to six decentralized safety-related islands with a maximum of 50 meters between each island.
