Features

  • Description: Reinforcement Kit to be added to standard MCS enclosures in order to reach a Seismic Zone 4 rating.
  • Braces: 2 X shapped braces, of 12ga galvanized steel, which provides resistance to the frame going out of square.
  • Side Plate: which adds rigidity and strength as well as extra mounting surface for components.
  • Corners: 4 total corner brackets, of 10ga galvanized steel, which make the weld joints of the frame more robust.
  • Door Pin: Mounted onto the door bars, it locks into a hole in the corner bracket, which prevents the door from jumping out of its lock catchers in an earthquake event.
  • Pack Qty: 1 Assembly per order.
  • Mounting Requirement: Complete assembly with SPM Side panels, but mounted with seismic hardware included in SBK Kit delivery.
  • If Plinth is required, PSB-Z4 needs to be ordered separately.
