- This premium Pro-face SP5000 Power Box features a unique "snap-on" modular architecture that seamlessly mates with standard display modules without requiring extensive field wiring
- Outfitted with two independent 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T RJ-45 Ethernet ports, this controller allows for complete network segmentation between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) networks. This dedicated hardware isolation enhances system cybersecurity, prevents network traffic bottlenecks, and guarantees deterministic communication for your critical industrial automation protocols.
- The unit includes two multi-protocol D-Sub 9-pin serial links (supporting software-selectable RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 at speeds up to 115,200 bps) alongside dual USB Type-A ports and a USB mini-B port. This rich interface mix eliminates the need for expensive third-party conversion gateways, letting you aggregate data from legacy PLCs, modern smart sensors, barcode scanners, and flash drives directly into a single HMI centric architecture.
- Engineered with two dedicated SD card slots, the module splits critical operating tasks into a designated System slot and a separate Storage slot for reliable database logging, trend capturing, and recipe handling.
- Fully certified under ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 and CSA C22.2 No 213 for Class I, Division 2 (Groups A, B, C, and D) hazardous locations, this rugged base unit operates reliably across a wide 0 C to 60 C temperature envelope. Built to withstand natural air circulation cooling and IEC/EN 61131-2 compliant levels of structural vibration and mechanical shock, it ensures stable execution in high-dust, heavy-machinery, and volatile industrial processing plants.
