Mersen disconnect switches are extremely durable and versatile. These heavy-duty switches are designed with the most up-to-date disconnect switch technology available. Designed to suit the UL98 standard, the switch gives you a product that makes and breaks power circuits on load. The switches are tested and approved for use in demanding applications, such as Service Entrance.

- The M30U3 is a heavy-duty, UL 98 listed non-fusible disconnect, meaning it is engineered to "make and break" power circuits under full load. Unlike standard motor-rated switches, this "Service Entrance" rating ensures your facility meets the most stringent National Electrical Code (NEC®) requirements for safety and reliability at the main power source.
- Recognized as one of the most compact 30-amp industrial switches on the market, the M30U3 maximizes your enclosure's real estate without sacrificing performance. Its space-saving design allows for a cleaner, more organized panel layout, reducing the need for larger, more expensive cabinets in tight industrial environments.
- When paired with the appropriate fuses, the M30U3 supports a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of up to 200kA. - Designed with silver-plated copper box terminals that accept #14 to #4 AWG wire, this switch ensures a low-resistance, high-conductivity connection.
