Description
14-inch Structured Media Enclosures make running cable and managing media both simple and cost effective. They are designed to provide a central distribution consolidation point, and can be installed and concealed in a closet or behind a flat-screen display. Ideal for supporting home, classroom, and small office technologies, enclosures accommodate the distribution of voice, data, video, audio, security, and IT/AV control applications
Features
- Accommodates two or more full-width Pre-Configured Structured Cabling Panels
- Positive tabs on housing sidewalls prevent enclosure from falling through the studs during installation
- One piece white steel unit holds 1/4, 1/2 and full-width expansion modules with the ability to mount most modules vertically or horizontally
- Can be surface-mounted or recessed
- Ideal for new installations and retrofits
- Powder coated white cover features 3/4" overlap to hide irregular drywall cuts
- Combine two or more enclosures for larger installations or future expansion
- Multiple knock-outs on top and bottom, including two 2" knock-outs on top, facilitate cable entry and routing
- Cut-out in base of enclosure for mounting single and double gang J-boxes and power modules
- Six 3" square self-healing foam grommets accommodate and protect cable bundles
- Cutout pattern in bottom accommodates the same Leviton Power Modules for any necessary active gear like service provider modems or Leviton active routers and switches
- Standards Compliance: ACA and CULus listed; UL Listed for fire and burglary
- Enclosures are constructed of white powder coated 20 gauge steel
- Covers are constructed of white powder coated 18 gauge steel
