- This is a 4-11/16 inch (120mm) square, single-gang raised surface cover (1/2" depth) specifically engineered for use with "Jumbo" or "Large Square" outlet boxes. It allows for the mounting of a single duplex receptacle onto an exposed-work 4-11/16" box, providing a professional finished look in commercial mechanical rooms, data centers, and industrial plants.
- Precision-stamped from heavy-duty 0.0625" galvanized steel, the Hubbell-Raco 72C1 is built to withstand extreme physical abuse. The galvanized finish provides superior resistance to rust and oxidation, ensuring long-term grounding continuity and structural integrity even when installed in unconditioned industrial spaces or high-traffic utility areas.
- The 1/2" raised profile provides an additional 3.0 cubic inch capacity to the total enclosure volume. This extra space is critical when working with large-gauge conductors or bulky industrial-grade devices, allowing for easier wire management and preventing insulation damage that can occur when forcing wires into a flat-cover assembly.
- Designed to minimize labor costs, this cover features "keyed" corner slots that allow for installation without fully removing the box screws. The package includes all necessary device mounting hardware, enabling a secure, wobble-free attachment of the receptacle to the cover before it is snapped onto the box.
