- 8 position, 8 contact RJ-45 modular plug for Cat 5e, 100Ω balanced twisted pair 100 MHz cables

- 1. Slide boot on the end of an unterminated Cat 5e/6 cable. At least one end of the cable needs to be unterminated.
- 2. Install and terminateRJ-45 connector per connector instructions.
- 3. Slide the boot over the back of connector so connector tab is partially covered by the hood dome of the boot.
- 4. Boots are reusable if cable is disassembled.
