These smart remotes are battery operated (CR2032 included) and typically have a 10-year battery life. Pico smart remotes look and feel just like a regular switch – add it to any room without cutting holes or pulling wire in the wall to install. Create a wireless 3-way application by mounting on the wall with a Pico wall mount bracket (PICO-WBX-ADAPT, sold separately), attaching to a pedestal (L-PED1-WH, sold separately), or control it from the palm of your hand for maximum convenience. Pico remotes utilize Lutron’s proprietary and highly reliable Clear Connect: Type A RF Technology which provide control of blinds, curtains, or lighting devices within a range of 30 ft (9 m) through walls and 60 ft (18 m) direct line-of-sight.
