Description
NQ and NF Panelboards applications include commercial buildings, industrial buildings, data centers, stadiums, and offices. NQ and NF Panelboards are versatile panelboards that feature a wide selection of circuit breakers, accessories, and ready to install kits. These panelboards have many different options for your enclosure box and its accessories. This enclosure box is rated as a Type 1 with one blank end wall and one end wall with knockouts for common conduit sizes. The enclosure dimensions are 20 inch width x 56 inch height x 5.75 inch depth. NQ and NF enclosures are UL listed for use in the USA and Canada. The end walls of NF and NQ enclosures are removable to simplify field modification to support the widest range of electrical conduit connections. NC trim fronts for interiors rated up to 250A may be screwed directly to the deadfront of the NF or NQ panelboard. NC trim fronts for interiors rated 400A or greater are vented and designed to be screwed directly to the Type 1, 2 enclosure of the NF or NQ panelboard. MHxxWP enclosures provide Type 3R/5/12 protection to NF and NQ Panelboards, and are supplied with removable blank end walls. MHxxBE and MHxxD9 Type 1 enclosures are supplied with removable blank end walls at both ends. MHxx enclosures have one blank end wall and one end wall with knockouts for common conduit sizes.

It serves as the primary structural shell, providing the necessary interior layout and mounting provisions to securely accept high-capacity distribution branch breakers and main lug configurations.
- Measuring exactly 56 inches in height, 26 inches in width, and an ultra-slim 5.75 inches in total depth, this enclosure delivers extensive interior volume for optimal wire management while maintaining a low-profile installation. The shallow depth ensures that the unit can be easily integrated into standard structural walls and tighter utility spaces where room is at a premium.
- Designed with flat, solid exterior walls and a robust back panel, this box is engineered for surface-mounted installations directly onto concrete blocks or heavy utility framing. The uniform layout allows contractors to easily position the unit, line up incoming conduit runs, and punch custom entry holes along any side of the perimeter walls.
- Manufactured from steel, this enclosure features integrated, pre-threaded grounding studs welded directly to the interior frame structure. This configuration establishes a low-resistance path to ground across the entire steel assembly, ensuring immediate circuit-breaker trip activation during an accidental phase-to-ground fault and safeguarding facility workers from shock hazards.
- Fully manufactured to rigorous North American safety standards, this product is cULus listed and CSA certified to meet the demanding requirements of commercial and industrial building codes. The factory-applied protective finish prevents rusting, ensuring that facility engineering audits, municipal electrical safety sign-offs, and insurance validations proceed smoothly.
