Description
PowerPact L-Frame Molded Case Circuit Breaker, LGL37040D30, are designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads and short circuits. PowerPact L-frame circuit breakers are available with Micrologic electronic trip units. This breaker is certified to UL, IEC, CE, CSA Standards. Dimensions are 287 mm (H) x 140 mm (W) x 168 mm (D). The parameters to be considered for motor-feeder protection depend on the application (type of machine driven, operating safety, frequency of operation, etc.) As well as the level of continuity of service required by the load or the application and the applicable standards for the protection of equipment. The required electrical functions are isolation, switching, generally at high endurance levels, protection against overloads and short-circuits, adapted to the motor. A motor branch circuit must comply with the requirements of standard UL 508 concerning contactors and their protection.
