Specially developed for DC applications, 20x127 gR cylindrical is a fast acting, full range fuse used in the protection of auxiliaries, control circuit and other measuring and monitoring devices.
Features
- Utilizing a specialized gR (gRB) class ultra-fast-acting clearing characteristic, the Mersen J075747 is engineered to clear faults almost instantly. This rapid response delivers exceptionally low $I^2t$ let-through energy, isolating localized electrical overloads before severe thermal stress can permanently destroy expensive power semiconductors, rectifiers, or thyristors.
- Purpose-built for high-voltage DC architectures, this fuse safely operates at a continuous 1500VDC with a robust 100kA interrupting rating. This massive breaking capacity provides reliable arc suppression in auxiliary systems, high-voltage battery storage arrays, solar traction equipment, and heavy-duty industrial control circuits where standard AC-rated fuses would fail to extinguish a DC fault.
- Equipped with an integrated mechanical striker system, this fuse provides immediate visual and mechanical confirmation the moment a fault occurs. This indicator pop-out can be paired with microswitches to trigger remote monitoring alarms, minimizing diagnostic downtime in massive industrial facilities and allowing maintenance teams to instantly pinpoint and replace the blown component.
