Description
Specially developed for DC applications, 20x127 gR cylindrical is a fast acting, full range fuse used in the protection of auxiliaries, control circuit and other measuring and monitoring devices.
Features
- Engineered with an extremely fast-acting gR class response profile, this high-speed Protistor® semiconductor fuse clears overloads and short circuits in fractions of a second. By minimizing peak let-through energy (I^2t), it shields high-value rectifiers, inverters, and variable speed drives from terminal thermal damage during a fault event.
- Boasting a robust 1000V DC voltage threshold and a 50-amp capacity, this fuse is specifically optimized for high-voltage DC control circuits, industrial auxiliaries, and advanced monitoring devices. Its impressive 100 kA interrupting rating provides reliable, fail-safe interruption of catastrophic fault currents, keeping downstream telemetry and control loops safe.
- Built with an internal mechanical striker system, this fuse physically deploys a positive indication pin the instant it clears a fault. This physical activation triggers auxiliary microswitches or provides rapid visual confirmation for field technicians, dramatically accelerating troubleshooting diagnostics and reducing system downtime during critical maintenance windows.
- Constructed with a premium cylindrical ceramic housing and silver-plated copper ferrule terminals, this 20 times 127 mm (13/16in times 5 in) fuse offers exceptional dimensional stability and heat dissipation.
