Description
The high interrupting rating of the Amp-Trap A4BT current-limiting fuses makes it suitable for protecting mains, feeders, and general circuits. The 10-second time-delay at 500 percent of fuse rating is ideal for large motors and other loads with high inrush currents. A4BT fuses can be applied to normal loads up to its full ampere rating to allow 100percent rating of equipment.

This prevents unnecessary system downtime and eliminates premature, costly replacement trips caused by routine equipment startups.

It limits fault currents rapidly to shield downstream feeders, service entrances, and sensitive circuit breakers from massive thermal and mechanical stress.
- Built to standard Class L dimensions (2.5-inch diameter times 8.625-inch length) with high-conductivity blade terminals, this 800A power fuse features integrated mounting slots for a secure, bolt-on installation. Its specialized structural dimensions function as a physical rejection mechanism, ensuring no lower-rated or incorrect fuse classes can be mistakenly installed in its place.
