Description
Tri-Onic TR-R current-limiting time-delay fuses are engineered for overcurrent protection of motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, feeders and branch-circuits. The time-delay characteristics of the TR-R safely handle harmless starting currents and inrush currents associated with today's motors and transformers.
Features
- The Mersen TR70R is a standard North American Class RK5 cartridge fuse measuring 5-7/8 inches in length and 1-1/16 inches in diameter with heavy-duty knife-blade terminals. Featuring a built-in rejection-style design, it perfectly matches standard clip-mounting 70A fuse blocks and safety switches while preventing the dangerous installation of lower-rated or non-current-limiting replacement fuses.
- Engineered with dual-element time-delay characteristics, this 70 Amp industrial fuse safely absorbs harmless, temporary inrush currents caused by electric motor start-ups and transformer initializations. This time-delay response eliminates frustrating nuisance tripping, keeping your critical branch circuits, feeders, and service entrance equipment running smoothly without sacrificing true overload protection.
- This versatile power fuse carries a dual 250V AC and 250V DC voltage rating, backed by a massive 200kA AC and 20kA DC short-circuit interrupting rating (I.R.). Its premium current-limiting design halts severe fault currents before they reach peak values, drastically reducing downline component exposure to destructive thermal and mechanical energy forces.
