Description
Tri-Onic TR-R current-limiting time-delay fuses are engineered for overcurrent protection of motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, feeders and branch-circuits. The time-delay characteristics of the TR-R safely handle harmless starting currents and inrush currents associated with today's motors and transformers.
Features
- Engineered with advanced Tri-Onic® time-delay dual-element characteristics, this fuse easily absorbs harmless initial inrush currents from heavy machinery and industrial transformers. By preventing unnecessary downtime caused by premature blowing, it keeps your production lines running smoothly while maintaining responsive overcurrent safety.
- It features a massive 200kA AC interrupting rating (20kA DC) that delivers maximum short-circuit compliance and heavily restricts peak let-through current. This strict current limitation minimizes the destructive magnetic and thermal forces that can permanently damage downstream feeders, branch-circuits, and main panel equipment.
- Featuring standard 90-Amp blade terminals and a cylindrical body sizing (1-1/16" diameter by 5-7/8" length), it serves as a universal, drop-in upgrade for any standard 250V application. The physical rejection-style design integrates seamlessly with Class R fuse blocks to prevent maintenance crews from accidentally installing lower-rated, non-rejection style alternatives.
