Description
Tri-Onic TRS-R current-limiting time-delay fuses are engineered for overcurrent protection of motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, feeders and branch-circuits. The time-delay characteristics of the TRS-R safely handle harmless starting currents and inrush currents associated with today's motors and transformers.

- Engineered with an advanced time-delay characteristic, the TRS4R safely absorbs temporary inrush currents and inductive spikes caused by industrial motors and transformers. This prevents costly nuisance tripping during equipment startups while ensuring the dual-element architecture still delivers reliable, precision protection against sustained overloads.
- Featuring a massive 200 kiloamp AC interrupting rating (and 20kA DC), this current-limiting fuse halts explosive short-circuit energy before it can damage downstream components. This high breaking capacity minimizes arc-flash risks and peak let-through current, shielding sensitive solid-state relays, controllers, and electrical panels from catastrophic system failure.
