- The XVUC23 is a premium illuminated indicator segment belonging to the high-performance Harmony XVU series of modular tower lights. This component is designed exclusively as an add-on stackable lens segment, requiring a compatible XVU base unit and top cover assembly to create a functional machinery status network. It is widely used across high-throughput industrial environments including automotive manufacturing lines, packaging machinery, and electronic assembly stations to broadcast real-time operational feedback.
- This indicator block features a bright green polycarbonate lens that projects a highly visible, steady light signal. The internal light engine uses a high-efficiency integral LED configuration that delivers uniform, omnidirectional light distribution without dark spots or fading. This steady green signal is standard for communicating optimal running conditions, safe process parameters, or complete automation cycles to plant floor supervisors from significant distances.
- The module draws a lean maximum current consumption of 50 mA or less and exhibits a maximum power dissipation of 2.5 Watts. This low-power consumption minimizes thermal strain inside the stacked assembly and allows the light paths to run directly off PLC transistor outputs or centralized auxiliary circuit cards.
- Built for flexible tool-free customization, this stackable element features a standard outer mounting diameter of 60 mm (2.36 inches) and a standalone structural height of 50 mm (1.97 inches). Up to five individual illuminated units can be stacked vertically onto a single base unit, or up to four illuminated modules can be paired with an independent audio buzzer module. The interlocking push-and-twist mechanical connection establishes clean, integrated electrical bus routing through internal pins without requiring internal wiring harnesses between layers.
- The outer cylinder is molded from heavy-duty polycarbonate that meets stringent UL 94 V-2 and V-0 flame-retardant safety standards. When properly locked together as part of a complete tower light assembly, the joints achieve a validated IP65 ingress protection score. This prevents heavy ambient dust, processing debris, and directed water jets from compromising the electrical contact path, enabling smooth operation across a temperature span from -25 C up to 50 C.
- The module features a sustainable design with formal Green Premium certification, ensuring it is entirely free of mercury and matches modern environmental initiatives. To streamline the integration process for panel fabricators and safety managers, the device carries complete UL, CSA, and CE certifications. This ensures it meets the rigid electrical safety standards required for straightforward facility approval from provincial and municipal field inspectors across Canada.
