Description
E-Frame Breaker are Lighting Panelboard Circuit breakers that are proven effective and reliable which provide a wide variety or robust features that are use specifically in Square D NF Panelboards. This range of breaker is ideally designed to offer superior overload and short circuit protection. All E-Frame breakers have a thermal-magnetic trip unit as well as signal indicator that will indicate when a trip has occur. Mounting bolts are used to hold these breakers in place. This E-Frame breaker is 50A, 3 pole, and has an operating voltage of 600Y/347 VAC. It also provides a 25 kA max interrupt rating at 120 VAC. This device has a hold current of 630A which is the maximum current the breaker can be held to ensure it will trip and a trip current of 1800A which is the current value when the breaker is guaranteed to trip. Many accessories are available for this breaker. This breaker was calibrated for 40 degrees C. This product is UL Listed as High Intensity Discharge. HACR rated.

- EDB36050 is an E-Frame branch circuit breaker engineered explicitly for bolt-on installation inside commercial Square D NF series panelboards. Its premium bolt-on connection guarantees a secure, vibration-resistant mechanical link to the copper or aluminum bus bar, preventing the common loose connections associated with standard snap-in alternatives.
- This heavy-duty 3-pole molded case circuit breaker delivers a continuous 50 Amp line-rated current operating at a maximum system voltage of 600Y/347 VAC. It provides code-compliant, three-phase overload protection capable of handling rigorous commercial and industrial electrical distribution systems without nuisance tripping.
- Outfitted with Schneider Electric’s signature local trip signaling mechanism, the integrated toggle handle moves to a distinct center position to clearly indicate an electrical fault event. This clear visual diagnostic minimizes costly operational downtime by allowing field electricians to instantly isolate the tripped branch and troubleshoot the line at a glance.
- The load side comes equipped with factory-installed aluminum mechanical lugs designed to reliably terminate a broad spectrum of field wiring. The rugged mechanical terminals securely accept copper wire gauges from AWG 14 down to AWG 2/0, or aluminum conductors from AWG 12 down to AWG 2/0, giving your installation team complete on-site wiring flexibility.
