Description
Type L door mounted, variable depth operating mechanisms feature heavy duty, all metal construction with trip indication. Operating mechanism can be padlocked in the Off position when the enclosure door is open. Handle assemblies can be locked Off with up to three padlocks, which also locks the door closed This handle mechanism will work with 2 or 3 pole PowerPacT B circuit breakers with a 125A frame size. This handle mechanism will also work with 2 or 3 pole PowerPacT H and PowerPacT J, Compact NSF circuit breakers with a 250A frame size. This handle mechanism will also work with 2 or 3 pole PowerPacT D and PowerPacT L circuit breakers with a 600A frame size. This handle mechanism will also work with 4 pole PowerPacT D and PowerPacT L circuit breakers with a 1200A 300V frame size. This handle assembly has a 6 inch handle. This chrome plated handle is rated for NEMA Type 1, 3R, 4, 4X and 12. This handle assembly is UL Component Recognized and CSA certified.

- This 6-inch door-mounted rotary operator is engineered for seamless mechanical coordination with Square D Type L variable-depth operating mechanisms. It provides direct physical control for 2, 3, and 4-pole PowerPacT B, H, J, and L frame circuit breakers ranging from 125A up to 300A continuous capacity. For panel assembly crews, this wide crossover capability simplifies component staging by allowing a single handle architecture to standardize across multi-tier breaker ratings.
- Manufactured with a heavy-duty, all-metal construction and finished in a premium polished chrome plating, this rugged handle is meticulously engineered for extreme resilience. It carries comprehensive NEMA Type 3, 4, and 4X ingress ratings, establishing a watertight, dust-tight, and corrosion-resistant perimeter. Industrial plant engineers can confidently specify this handle in wastewater treatment plants, chemical processing bays, and outdoor utility panels where aggressive environments swiftly degrade painted steel equivalents.
- This rotary operator incorporates an integrated trip indication capability that repositions the handle to a distinct mid-way posture the exact moment an upstream short circuit or overcurrent fault triggers the underlying breaker mechanism.
