Description
Square D LA molded case circuit breakers provide thermal magnetic protection. Their primary function is automatic opening of a circuit under overload or short circuit conditions or manual opening. LA circuit breakers offer many field installable accessories to increase the breaker's application versatility. This shunt trip is an offered accessory for LA/LH/Q4 breakers. Shunt trip accessory is used to trip the breaker from a remote location by trip coil energized from another circuit. The control voltage for operation is 24VDC. This accessory is UL listed.

- L-frame circuit breakers with MicroLogic trip units can be used with these enclosures with some limitations.
- PowerPacT H Type 1, 3, 4X and 12 enclosures are UL Listed to UL489 and CSA C22.2 No.5
