Description
TeSys U standard control unit to be inserted in power bases LUB12, LUB32, LUB38 to form a TeSys U starter controller, for 3-phase motor applications up to 5.5kW@400V. It provides full protection to motors with a rated current Ir 3-12A (Ir adjustable), overload tripping class 10, short circuit at 13 x Irmax, overcurrent at 14.2 x Ir, phase loss, insulation fault (protection of equipment only). To be used with a 110-240V AC / 110-220V DC voltage for the control of the starter (through the control terminals A1/A2 located in the power base). Certified when used in conjunction with a LUB power base (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

- Featuring a versatile current setting range of 3 to 12 Amps, this LUCA standard control unit allows for fine-tuned thermal protection tailored to your specific motor’s nameplate. - Designed with a wide-range "FU" coil compatible with both AC and DC voltages from 110V to 240V, this unit offers maximum flexibility for industrial automation upgrades. - As a core component of the TeSys Ultra (U) innovative motor starter system, this unit snaps directly onto a power base without the need for complex control wiring. This modular architecture allows industrial maintenance teams to perform rapid hot-swaps and system reconfigurations, slashing MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and keeping your production line moving.
- Beyond standard thermal protection, this unit provides critical "Class 10" tripping performance, including sensitivity to phase failure and phase imbalance. By instantly detecting a lost phase or unbalanced load, the LUCA12FU prevents catastrophic motor winding damage and expensive downtime in critical pumping, conveyor, or fan applications.
