Square D MCFTB6004L Square D Tap Box, 600A, 240V, 3 Phase/4 Wire, NEMA Type 1

Square D Meter Centres provide a compact and versatile metering and distribution centre for today's residential, commercial, and industrial markets. This Square D Meter Centre tap box can be a 1 phase, 3 wire or a 3 phase, 4 wire 120/208VAC 600A with a 65kA short circuit current rating. The 600A rated vertical bus bar comes factory installed. Four lugs come factory installed and accept (3) 4 AWG to 750kcmil or (4) 4 AWG to 600kcmil or (8) 4 AWG to 250kcmil conductors. It is a feed-thru tap box and is suitable for underground or overhead service and as a subfeed device or branch tap box. This tap box meets CSA standards and is a steel NEMA Type 1 grey baked enamel enclosure. Feed-through tap boxes are required in place of main tap boxes when the main service cables must enter and branch off at the same end of the meter centre assembly.
