The swept-wing design makes the connector easy and comfortable to apply, while the pre-filled, silicone-based sealant protects against moisture and corrosion, eliminating the need for heat-shrink or excessive taping.WeatherProof Wire Connectors feature tough, flame-retardant shells that withstand most rugged environmental extremes and are listed to UL 486D for use in damp or wet locations that are above ground.Due to the pre-filled silicone sealant, WeatherProof Wire Connectors are designed as a one-use only connection.Not for use in continual submersion applications.
