Description
This Harmony XB5, monostable biometric switch has a pre-wired cable connectionis supplied with 24V DC. This biometric switch allows control of authorization to access areas, machine commands and functions without the use of easy-to-lose keys. It has a high detection reliability with minimal false positive detections. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP65, making it ideal for operation in harsh environments. It is easily installed into standard 22mm diameter cut-outs. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -25°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.

- Equipped with an advanced biometric scanner that stores up to 200 distinct operator fingerprints, this standalone switch replaces easily lost keys or stolen passwords with unforgeable physical authentication. By ensuring that only fully certified personnel can initialize high-risk industrial automation lines, it dramatically cuts down on operator-error downtime and fulfills strict facility access-control protocols.
- Engineered to operate seamlessly on standard 24V AC/DC control loops, this switch features a highly stable 200mA solid-state PNP output that wires directly into your automation system's inputs. This low-voltage architecture eliminates the need for dedicated external step-down transformers or auxiliary power modules, minimizing control panel clutter and streamlining retrofits on existing manufacturing lines.
- Outfitted with a rugged, factory-sealed 2-meter (6.6 ft) multi-conductor cable, this unit completely eliminates the tedious task of stripping and terminating individual conductors at the machine interface wall.
