Description
This Harmony XB5, flush black button head operates with a spring return mechanism. It is marked with a "Down arrow" symbol. This button head provides an ergonomic interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible complete push-button units and contact blocks via snap-fit assembly. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66 / IP67 / IP69 / IP69K. It has a plastic bezel, this makes it ideal for applications requiring good resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- This operator features a clear, permanent white Down Arrow symbol engraved onto a flush black actuator surface. This ensures immediate visual recognition for machine operator safety during directional commands like lowering, reversing, or descending, while preventing the marking from wearing off under heavy daily use.
- This non-illuminated pushbutton head is designed with a standard 22mm mounting diameter, making it a drop-in replacement for existing Harmony XB5 plastic control stations or standard industrial panels. It mounts quickly via a snap-fit assembly onto standard fixing collars and contact blocks, minimizing machine downtime during maintenance cycles.
- Built to withstand extreme industrial conditions, this module carries IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings, alongside NEMA 4X and NEMA 13 certifications. It offers full resistance against dust infiltration, high-pressure water jets (1015.3 psi at 55C), and heavy chemical washdowns, making it ideal for food processing, marine, and chemical applications.
- Engineered with a highly resilient spring return (momentary action) mechanism, this switch head features a mechanical durability rating of 10,000,000 cycles. It provides long-term operational reliability in high-frequency applications, eliminating the need for frequent replacement components.
- This industrial-grade plastic bezel operator is rated for a wide ambient operating temperature range from -40C to 70C (-40F to 158F). It maintains structural integrity and tactile responsiveness without cracking in sub-zero outdoor conditions or warping in high-heat manufacturing environments.
