Description
This Harmony XB5, flush head with unmarked caps set is supplied with 6 colored caps. This button head with set of colored caps provides 6 different cap colors for multi-purposes use in operation along with an ergonomic interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible complete push-button units and contact blocks via snap-fit assembly. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66. It has a plastic bezel, this makes it ideal for applications requiring good resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.

- The Schneider Electric ZB5AA9 is a 22mm flush push button head from the Harmony XB5 plastic range. The "9" suffix indicates this is a multi-color kit, including a set of six interchangeable caps (Black, White, Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue). This is an essential "truck stock" item for Canadian electricians, as it allows you to configure the button for any function—Start, Stop, Reset, or Forward—right at the job site.
- This is a spring return (momentary) operator, meaning it only activates its associated contact blocks while being held down. It is the industry standard for "Start" commands in motor control circuits or for "Reset" functions on Canadian industrial machinery.
- As part of the XB5 line, the ZB5AA9 features a reinforced polyamide (plastic) bezel. Unlike metal buttons that can pit or oxidize, this plastic version is ideal for Canadian environments subject to high humidity or chemical exposure, such as wastewater treatment plants, dairies, and food processing facilities.
- Designed for the harshest wash-down environments, this operator carries IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings, as well as NEMA 4X. It is engineered to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, making it the perfect choice for Canadian "clean-room" or heavy industrial applications.
- The ZB5AA9 is part of the modular Harmony system. It snaps into a standard ZB5AZ009 mounting collar without the need for tools. Contact blocks (like the ZBE101) then clip onto the back of the collar, allowing for fast assembly and easy field modifications in crowded control cabinets.
