Description
This Harmony XB4, black button head operates with a spring return mechanism. This button head provides an ergonomic interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible complete push button units and contact blocks via snap-fit assembly. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66 / IP67 / IP69 / IP69K. It has a metal bezel, this makes it Ideal for applications requiring high impact and vibration resistance. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- The ZB4BA2 is a 22mm "Harmony XB4" momentary pushbutton head featuring a flush black profile. This modular industrial component serves as the physical interface on a control panel, designed to be combined with a mounting collar and contact blocks to execute "Stop," "Off," or "Manual" commands.
- According to international IEC 60204-1 and NFPA 79 standards, black is the preferred color for "Stop" or "Off" functions (when not using Red for emergency stops). The flush profile keeps the button level with the bezel, preventing accidental activation from side impacts or snagged clothing in high-traffic work cells.
- As part of the Harmony XB4 high-performance metal range, this head features a Chromium-plated metal bezel. This construction provides superior impact resistance and chemical protection compared to plastic alternatives, making it the industry standard for automotive, mining, and heavy machinery applications.
- The ZB4BA2 is engineered for extreme reliability, carrying IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings. It is also NEMA 4, 4X, and 13 rated, meaning it can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns and remains fully functional in environments saturated with dust, oils, or corrosive coolants.
- Designed to fit a standard 22.5mm diameter hole, this head utilizes a simple "click-fit" system with the ZB4BZ009 mounting collar. This modularity allows for rapid assembly and easy component replacement; if you need to change the function of the button, you can swap the head without disconnecting any of the wiring on the contact blocks behind the panel.
