Description
This Harmony XB4, green button head operates with a spring return mechanism. This button head provides an ergonomic interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible complete push button units and contact blocks via snap-fit assembly. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66 / IP67 / IP69 / IP69K. It has a metal bezel, this makes it Ideal for applications requiring high impact and vibration resistance. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- The ZB4BA3 is a 22mm Green Flush Push Button Head from the Harmony XB4 metal range. It is the visible, mechanical part of a push button assembly. To create a functioning switch, this head must be paired with a mounting collar (ZB4BZ009) and at least one contact block (such as a ZB2BE101).
- The "flush" design means the button surface sits nearly level with the surrounding metal bezel. This is an intentional safety and ergonomic choice common in Canadian industrial plants; it prevents accidental activation from leaning against the panel or a tool snagging the button, while still remaining easy to press with a finger.
- As part of the XB4 line, the bezel is made of chromium-plated metal. This makes it exceptionally durable and resistant to the chemical cleaners, impacts, and extreme temperatures found in Canadian mining, oil and gas, and food processing environments. Unlike plastic alternatives, it won't crack or degrade under heavy UV exposure or mechanical stress.
- In accordance with international and Canadian industrial standards, Green is almost universally used for "Start" or "On" functions. Using standardized colors ensures that operators can react intuitively to controls, reducing the risk of human error during machine operation.
- When properly installed with its matching collar and seal, the ZB4BA3 provides a high degree of protection for your enclosure. It is rated for IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K, as well as NEMA 4, 4X, and 13. This means it is completely dust-tight and can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns—perfect for Canadian food and beverage plants.
