Description
Mersen USCC Series UltraSafe Modular Fuse holders introduce a new level of safety for Class CC 1-1/2" x 13/32" AC and DC-rated fuses up to 30 amperes. UltraSafe holders qualify as “Finger-safe” under IEC and DIN standards to an IP20 grade of protection, including fuse changing (with the flick of a finger). UltraSafe holders are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 poles, with or without visual blown-fuse indicators in each pole. Multi-pole units can also be field assembled by ordering pin-tie handles. UltraSafe holders save up to 15% mounting space and any combination can be snapped onto 35mm DIN-rail for extra savings in panel building time. UltraSafe holders with Class CC fuses chosen for Type “2” No Damage protection give one of the safest protection packages in the industry. UltraSafe body material is tough and durable polyamide, with exceptional insulating properties.

- The Mersen USCC2 is a 2-pole, 30-Amp finger-safe modular fuse holder designed specifically for Class CC fuses. It provides a compact, high-performance solution for protecting single-phase motor branch circuits, control transformers, and heating loads in industrial and commercial electrical panels.
- The USCC2 is rated IP20 finger-safe, meaning the housing is designed to prevent accidental contact with live electrical parts. The innovative pull-out drawer system allows for fast, "no-tool" fuse replacements. This dead-front design maximizes operator safety during maintenance compared to traditional open-style fuse blocks.
- When equipped with high-interrupting Class CC fuses, the USCC2 allows your electrical assembly to achieve a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of up to 200,000 Amps. This provides "Type 2 No Damage" protection, ensuring that downstream components are shielded from catastrophic failure during a short-circuit event.
- This 2-pole unit features a space-saving footprint that snaps directly onto standard 35mm DIN rails. Its narrow profile is ideal for modern, high-density control cabinets where rail space is at a premium, allowing you to pack more protection into a smaller enclosure without compromising thermal performance.
- Manufactured from rugged thermoplastic material, the USCC2 is built to withstand temperatures ranging from -40 C to 85 C. The robust box-style pressure plate terminals ensure a vibration-resistant connection for #14 to #6 AWG copper wire, making it a reliable choice for heavy machinery and transport applications.
