Description
Mersen’s innovative Modulostar CUSCC fuse holders are finger-safe under IEC standards to an IP20 grade of protection, including fuse changing (with the flick of a finger). Modulostar CUSCC fuse holders are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 poles, with or without visual blown fuse indicator, in UL + IEC version. Multi-pole units can also be field assembled by ordering pin-ties assembly kit. Made of tough and durable thermoplastic or thermoset material. Recommended for use with Mersen Class CC fuse-links: ATDR, ATMR, and ATQR.
Features
- Rated for up to 700 Volts, this fuse holder is the industrial standard for 600V 3-phase systems and high-voltage DC bus applications. Its high dielectric strength provides critical insulation between the live fuse and the mounting backplate, preventing flashovers and ensuring the safety of your control cabinet.
- Unlike spring-clip holders that can loosen over time due to vibration, the M1062795 utilizes a stud-mount (bolt-in) design. This creates a high-torque mechanical bond between the fuse blade and the holder, minimizing contact resistance and preventing the "hot spots" that lead to premature fuse failure in heavy-duty machinery.
- The base is molded from high-strength, glass-reinforced polycarbonate or polyester with excellent thermal stability. This "cool-running" material maintains its structural integrity even when the fuse is operating at full load, making it ideal for the confined, high-temperature environments found in VFD enclosures and UPS cabinets.
