Tri-Onic TR-R current-limiting time-delay fuses are engineered for overcurrent protection of motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, feeders and branch-circuits. The time-delay characteristics of the TR-R safely handle harmless starting currents and inrush currents associated with today's motors and transformers.

- Engineered with advanced dual-element time-delay characteristics, this 12-Amp fuse safely rides out harmless transient inrush currents and transformer spikes. This precise time-lag window completely eliminates expensive nuisance opening under temporary surge conditions while remaining ready to isolate sustained, destructive overloads.
- Boasting highly efficient current-limiting performance, the TR12R strictly restricts peak let-through current during a major electrical fault. By physically choking off destructive fault energy before it can damage downstream branch circuits, feeders, or control panels, it significantly improves the Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of your overall facility layout.
- Featuring a massive 200,000-Amp AC interrupting rating at 250V (and 20,000 Amps at 160V DC), this robust cartridge safely extinguishes intense arcing energy without rupturing. Filled with a premium high-grade silica medium for rapid arc quenching, it ensures your electrical panels remain physically protected against severe line-to-line short circuits.
- Built with the standard Class RK5 rejection-style footprint (9/16 in diameter by 2 in length), this ferrule-terminal cartridge prevents dangerous replacement errors when paired with an RK5-compatible fuse block. This mechanical barrier ensures a lower-rated or non-current-limiting Class H or K fuse cannot accidentally be dropped into the circuit, maintaining strict facility code compliance.
