Description
The PowerPact H-, J-, and L-frame circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads and short circuits. H- and J-frame circuit breakers are available with either thermal-magnetic or Micrologic electronic trip units. The new generation PowerPact with Micrologic circuit breakers set the standard with direct access to energy management. Integrated metering enhances their protective functions. For the first time, Schneider Electric™ users can monitor energy from 15 to 3000 A, offering new performance in a remarkably compact device. This PowerPact H, circuit breaker has a rated current of 100A and is a 3P breaker. This breaker has a breaking capacity of 14 kA@600VAC and has an thermal-magnetic trip technology. This breaker complies to UL, CE, IEC & CSA standards. Thermal current for this breaker has a magnetic tripping current of 1700A. Dimensions for this breaker are 6.4 in (H),2.74 in (W),4.36 in (D) and has an ambient temperature of 40 °C. This product comes with an 18 months warranty.
Features
- Engineered within the advanced PowerPacT H-Frame family, this 3-pole unit delivers exceptional circuit protection using a sophisticated thermal-magnetic tripping mechanism. It utilizes a factory-calibrated bimetallic element to monitor and clear sustained thermal overloads, paired with an instantaneous magnetic ambient sensor that opens immediately during massive short-circuit faults to isolate the downstream system from grid damage.
- This industrial-grade breaker is engineered for a continuous current rating of 100A at a maximum operational voltage threshold of 600V AC (or 250V DC). This exact operational envelope allows it to comfortably control high-capacity 3-phase machinery, commercial HVAC chillers, and localized subpanel feed structures across high-voltage distribution networks.
- The device comes factory-outfitted with Schneider Electric's premium EverLink lug matrix on both the line and load sides. This specialized terminal system utilizes a patented control mechanism that maintains persistent, high-torque pressure on the electrical conductors, completely compensating for wire strand compression over time to accept wire sizes from AWG 14 up to AWG 3/0 in aluminum or copper.
- Fully manufactured to satisfy rigid North American building and industrial standards, this circuit breaker carries complete UL Listed, CSA Certified, IEC, and CE approvals. This comprehensive testing profile provides field inspectors and plant engineers with certified safety documentation, ensuring seamless municipal code sign-offs and reliable continuous plant operation.
