Description
The PowerPact™ J-frame circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads and short circuits. J-frame circuit breakers are available with either thermal-magnetic or Micrologic™ electronic trip units. The amperage ratings of the thermal trip elements are calibrated at 104°F (40°C) free air ambient temperature. Per the National Electric Code® (NEC®) and the Canadian Electrical Code, standard circuit breakers may only be applied continuously at up to 80% of their rating. This PowerPact J, circuit breaker and is 3-pole and has a breaking capacity of 14kA@600VAC and has a rated current of 175A. This ia a unit mount breaker and complies to UL listed, IEC, CCC, CE & CSA standards. With a magnetic hold current of 875A and a magnetic tripping current of 1750-1750A Dimensions for this product are 7.52 in (H),4.12 in (W), 5 in (D) with an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C. This product comes with an 18 month warranty.

- Boasting a D-Code breaking capacity, this molded case circuit breaker delivers an interrupting rating of 18 kA at 480 V and 14 kA at 600 V. - This unit utilizes the standard PowerPact J-Frame footprint, measuring 7.5" in Height x 4.09" in Width x 3.4" in Depth, allowing for seamless visual and mechanical consistency with existing Square D installations. Designed for unit-mount flexibility, it drops directly into standard enclosures using standard line- and load-side mechanical lugs without requiring costly panel alterations.
- The integrated factory-installed terminal lugs are designed to accommodate a wide range of wiring specifications, accepting wire sizes from AWG 4 up to AWG 4/0 in both aluminum and copper conductors. The premium construction ensures a secure, high-conductivity connection capable of handling up to 221.3 lbf.in of torque to prevent loose connections, thermal failure, and dangerous arcing.
