Description
PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads and short circuits. PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breakers are available with either thermal magnetic or MicroLogic electronic trip protection units. This PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breaker provides thermal magnetic circuit protection with a breaking capacity of 18kA at 600VAC. All PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breakers are equipped with dual-break rotating contacts that reduce the amount of peak current during a short circuit fault. All PowerPacT circuit breakers have an integral push-to-trip button in the cover to manually trip the circuit breaker. PowerPacT J circuit breakers are available in 2 and 3-pole unit mount and I-Line constructions. PowerPacT J I-Line circuit breakers are available in I-Line construction for easy installation and removal in I-Line applications. This breaker has lugs on both the line and load sides. This PowerPacT J, 250A, 3 pole, circuit breaker has a breaking capacity of 18kA at 600VAC. This circuit breaker has a continuous current rating of 80%. PowerPacT J circuit breakers comply to UL, CSA, NOM, and IEC standards and are CE marked.

- Engineered for demanding commercial and industrial applications, this 3-pole, 250-Amp circuit breaker supports system operational voltages up to 600V AC. It ensures reliable, continuous overcurrent management for heavy machinery, branch circuits, and large-scale distribution panels without premature nuisance tripping.
- Featuring a high-performance "G" breaking capacity code, this unit delivers an impressive 35 kAIC interrupting rating at 480V AC (and 18 kAIC at 600V AC). This robust short-circuit defense shields your expensive downstream electrical components from catastrophic failure during high-fault events, safeguarding your facility's operational uptime.
- Utilizing precise, non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip technology, the breaker features a fixed 1250A magnetic hold and a 2500A instantaneous tripping current. This allows the system to seamlessly accommodate temporary inrush currents from heavy motor startups while executing rapid, clear-cut isolation the moment a true thermal overload or short-circuit is detected.
- Designed for versatile unit-mount (feed-thru) installations, this J-Frame breaker comes equipped with factory-installed mechanical line and load side lugs that accept AWG 3/0 to 350 kcmil aluminum or copper wiring. This standard lug configuration eliminates the hassle of sourcing separate terminal kits, dramatically reducing your field installation time and ensuring clean, low-resistance electrical connections.
