Description
30mm push button range is robust and offers long term reliability in heavy duty industrial applications and extreme environments. The 9001K operator have a metal operator base and the 9001SK operators have a plastic base. This very broad line of push button operators includes push buttons, emergency stop mushroom head push buttons, selector switches, key operated switches, and operators with potentiometers. Also includes pilot lights (LED, incandescent and neon), joystick controllers, wobble stick operators, and operators with multiple functions. These operators can be purchased as complete operators or as subassemblies that can be assembled by the user to meet specific requirements. The 9001 K metal 30mm push buttons are automatic selfgrounding operators requiring no additional wiring and are ABS Certified. Its protection index is IP66. Contact blocks have terminal screw shipped back out to speed wiring and has a very large variety of accessories. Some operators have super bright LEDs for high visibility. These operators are IP 66, NEMA 4 rated (heavy duty, oil tight, water proof and dust tight without requiring boots). The 9001SK operators are also NEMA 4X corrosion resistant. The 9001K and 9001SK 30mm push button operators conforms to IEC, UL, CSA, EN and NOM standards. They are CE marked. 30mm Push Buttons are used in the automotive, machine tool, crane and hoist, food and beverage, industrial applications, material handling, petrochemical, wastewater treatment, metallurgy and many more industries.
Features
- Engineered with a rugged, non-grounding plastic body, this heavy-duty 30mm device is built specifically for environments prone to chemical exposure, salt spray, and moisture. The robust construction eliminates the risk of external oxidation and tracking, providing reliable performance in water treatment facilities, chemical processing plants, and food-and-beverage washdown zones.
- Featuring a maintained push-pull mechanical operation, this device locks securely into the depressed position when pushed and remains there until manually pulled back out. This deliberate action ensures it serves as an excellent, fail-safe emergency stop or system-override interface that cannot be accidentally reset by machine vibrations or stray bumps.
- Outfitted with an oversized, bright red mushroom head, this operator ensures striking visibility from across a busy factory floor or conveyor line. The broad surface area allows operators to strike or slap the button quickly with a palm or gloved hand during an emergency, drastically reducing reaction times when a system shutdown is urgently required.
- Boasting comprehensive IP66 and NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and 13 ingress ratings when properly installed in a matching enclosure, this operator completely seals out dust, oil, coolant, and high-pressure water jets. This heavy-duty sealing keeps your internal electrical contacts dry and clean, preventing unexpected short circuits or contact oxidation in outdoor and heavy industrial settings.
