Description
Type L door mounted, variable depth operating mechanisms feature heavy duty, all metal construction with trip indication. Operating mechanism can be padlocked in the Off position when the enclosure door is open. Handle assemblies can be locked Off with up to three padlocks, which also locks the door closed This operating mechanism will work with PowerPact H and PowerPact J and Compact NSF circuit breakers. Circuit breakers can be 2 or 3 pole with a frame size of 250A. Proper circuit breaker, operating handle and operating shaft must be ordered separately. Mechanism is UL Component Recognized and CSA certified.

This dedicated compatibility ensures a flawless physical interface, allowing industrial panel builders to standardize their disconnect mechanisms across a broad range of 600V AC distribution systems without needing multiple niche adapters.
- Meeting rigid NEMA 1, 3R, and 12 sealing requirements when properly paired with an operating handle, this all-metal mechanism prevents the ingress of falling dirt, circulating dust, lint, and external water spray. It protects the core breaker link from premature oxidation and binding, making it highly reliable for washdown zones, processing floors, and outdoor utility installations.
- This safety-focused mechanism features a robust internal lockout system that can be securely padlocked in the "Off" position when the enclosure door is completely open. When combined with a compatible 3-inch or 6-inch exterior rotary handle, it accepts up to three individual padlocks—simultaneously keeping the breaker isolated and mechanically locking the door shut to prevent unauthorized entry during critical lockout-tagout (LOTO) maintenance procedures.
