Features

The Schneider GS2AE81 is a specialized Shaft Extension designed for use with TeSys GS and FuPacT GS fuse switch-disconnectors. It acts as the mechanical bridge between the switch body (mounted inside the enclosure) and an external operating handle (mounted on the enclosure door), allowing operators to safely disconnect power without opening the cabinet.
This model features a length of 400mm (approx. 15.75 inches). This extra length is ideal for deep Canadian industrial enclosures or situations where the switch is mounted far back on the sub-panel to accommodate large cable bending radii or complex busbar arrangements.
The GS2AE81 has a 5mm x 5mm square cross-section. It is specifically engineered for low-amperage switches typically those rated for 30A or 32A. Using a shaft with the correct cross-section is critical to ensure a tight, no-slip fit with the handle and to prevent mechanical stripping under the torque of switching.
This shaft extension is compatible with several Schneider ranges commonly used in Canadian manufacturing, including: TeSys GS (GS1D and GS2D series) FuPacT GS (GSB32 and GSC32 series) LK4 Non-fusible disconnects (within the compatible amperage range)
