Description
These TeSys VLS disconnect switches are for integration into control systems in applications like material handling, HVAC, pumping, solar energy, mining and many more. This family of disconnect switches has switches ranging from 16A to 125A. The 16A, 25A, 32A, 40A and 63A disconnect switches are UL508 motor disconnect switches rated. The 30A, 63A, 80A, 100A and 125A disconnect switches are UL98 non fusible disconnect switch rated. Shaft extension is for rear-mounting handles VLSH1S5R, VLSH2S5R, VLSH2H5R, VLSH2H5RD, VLSH1S5B, VLSH2S5B, VLSH2H5B, VLSH2H5BD or VLSH2S5BC. It can also be used with mechanical interlock VLS8C1 or VLS8C2 or mechanical coupling system VLS8M1. This shaft extension is 0.20 inches by 0.20 inches and 11.81 inches long. The shaft extension weighs 0.15 lbs. The shaft extension is cULus Listed and meets IEC 60947-3 requirements.

- The Schneider Electric VLSS3005 is a high-quality, 300mm (11.8in) extension shaft designed for the TeSys Vario and TeSys Vario V disconnect switch ranges. It acts as the mechanical bridge between a back-mounted switch body and a door-mounted handle, allowing you to operate high-voltage disconnects from the exterior of large, deep Canadian industrial enclosures.
- This shaft features a standard 5 times 5 mm square cross-section, engineered to transmit significant mechanical force without twisting or slipping. This ensures that when an operator turns the external handle, the internal disconnect snaps open or closed with the precise, high-speed action required to safely interrupt industrial power circuits.
- While the shaft arrives at a total length of 300mm, it is designed to be easily cut to length in the field. This allows Canadian panel builders to buy one standard part number and tailor it to the exact depth of their specific enclosure, whether they are working with a compact wall-mount box or a deep floor-standing "mcc" style cabinet.
- Manufactured from high-grade, zinc-plated steel, the VLSS3005 is built to resist corrosion and mechanical fatigue. It is designed to survive the high-vibration and heavy-use environments common in Canadian mining, manufacturing, and rooftop HVAC applications, ensuring the disconnect system remains operational for the life of the machine
