Description
Mersen has a wide range of shafts to fit our wide range of handles. Different handles require different shafts. The end of the shaft interlocks with the handle to keep the door from opening when the switch is in the ‘ON' position. They also come different lengths to conform to enclosures with different depths.

- Specifically engineered for deep-panel applications, this 180mm (approx. 7.09") square shaft provides the necessary clearance to connect internal disconnect switches to exterior-mounted door handles. It eliminates the need for custom-fabricated extensions, ensuring a professional, code-compliant fit in oversized NEMA cabinets and deep control consoles.
- This shaft features a standard 6x6mm square cross-section, designed for a seamless, "no-slop" interface with Mersen selector-style handles and non-fusible disconnect switches. The precision milling guarantees reliable torque transfer and prevents rounded edges, ensuring your safety disconnect operates smoothly every time, even after years of industrial use.
