• The Schneider GS2AH120 is a high-visibility, ergonomic operating handle designed for use with TeSys GS fusible disconnect switches. It allows an operator to safely actuate the switch from the exterior of an electrical enclosure, maintaining a physical barrier between the technician and live internal components.
• This handle features the industry-standard Red handle on a Yellow front plate. This specific color combination is legally required for "Emergency Stop" functions in many industrial jurisdictions, ensuring that the main disconnect is immediately identifiable to personnel during a critical equipment failure or safety event.
• Engineered for demanding environments, the GS2AH120 carries an IP65 and NEMA 4/4X rating. This means it is completely dust-tight and protected against high-pressure water jets and corrosion, making it the ideal choice for food processing, wastewater treatment, and outdoor Canadian industrial sites.
• To ensure compliance with strict safety protocols, this handle is padlockable in the OFF position. It can accommodate up to three individual padlocks, preventing the machinery from being accidentally energized while maintenance crews are working on the downstream equipment.
• The handle features an integrated door interlock mechanism. When the switch is in the "ON" position, the handle prevents the enclosure door from being opened. Conversely, when the handle is locked in the "OFF" position, it prevents the disconnect from being turned on while the door is open, significantly reducing arc flash risks.
